The Mackenzie Room

Separated from the main dining room by a wine wall, Forty-One’s Mackenzie Room is a sumptuous space that can host up to 36 guests for a family-style or boardroom meal, and up to 50 guests for a reception. Accented in dark wood, this private room is perfect for business dinners, birthday or anniversary celebrations, afternoon breaks for onsite conferences, bridal luncheons, and more.

 

Forty-One’s Mackenzie Room is named after the tenth prime minister of Canada, Mackenzie King, who played a major role in the creation of the Lord Elgin and set the first stone of our iconic Ottawa hotel in 1941.

The St. Laurent Room

Overlooking the lovely Confederation Park, the St. Laurent Room is a light-filled space that can host up to 48 guests for a seated meal or up to 65 guests for a reception. The room features oversized windows and showcases local art on the walls.

 

The St. Laurent Room is located in close proximity to Forty One as well as to our Pearson Ballroom, which makes it great for any occasion and especially for larger events that will also be utilizing the ballroom.

Our catering offerings

In both of our private-dining areas, we offer catering from the Forty-One kitchen as well as audio-visual capabilities and complimentary WiFi. Our catering services range from morning breaks and receptions to buffet or à la carte breakfasts, lunches, and dinners.
