Join us for 2017 celebrations happening here in Ottawa all year long!
In 2017, Ottawa is where you’ll want to be for Canada’s sesquicentennial – its 150th birthday! As Ottawa is Canada’s Capital, many of the country’s biggest celebratory birthday events will happen right here. From new exhibitions at Ottawa’s national museums, to special performances and exciting technological installations in Ottawa’s downtown core, special events will be taking place all year long.
The Lord Elgin Hotel has one of the very best locations to take in all the fun! Located on Ottawa’s ceremonial boulevard, Elgin Street, you can park and walk to most of the major attractions and events planned for 2017. The party has been going on since January, but along with the weather, the events are starting to heat up for summer, with activities going right until the end of the year!
