Lord Elgin Hotel Information
The Lord Elgin Ottawa resort has long been considered a landmark. Ideally located in the heart of downtown Ottawa, directly across from Confederation Park and the National Arts Centre. Lord Elgin is steps away from the Rideau Canal, Ottawa Congress Centre, Parliament Buildings, Ottawa Rideau Centre, University of Ottawa and only 5 kilometers from Carleton University. Try the hundreds of dining choices on Elgin Street and in the nearby Byward Market.
Rooms & Suites
Guestrooms reflect Ottawa's elegance. From the tall picture windows framed with rich toned window treatments, bold tulip inspired artwork, to Biedermeier style furnishings, you cannot help but feel pampered.
Please note, the Lord Elgin Hotel is entirely smoke-free.

Our Ottawa resort guests enjoy the lap pool with adjoining whirlpool, sauna, and varied fitness equipment in our Health Club, now open 24 hours a day.

Take a latte to-go from Starbuck’s on-site, or enjoy our NEW restaurant and lounge, Grill 41, opening in September 2010. Breakfast features an expansive buffet complete with made-to-order omelet station. The lobby bar features a variety of libations and a place to relax. Room service is also available.
Meetings
Fifteen meeting rooms offer a total of 13,000 square feet of Ottawa meeting space with wireless Hi-speed Internet.
Valet Parking
Should you bring your car, valet parking only is available at a charge of $23 per day. Please be advised that parking for oversized vehicles is limited.
Running, Walking & Cycling Paths
It is only natural that our National Capital Marathon in May and the Canada Army Run in September have their starting line at the front door of the Lord Elgin. The Hotel sits on the doorstep of the best running, cycling and skating routes along the Rideau Canal. Ask for the
Jogging Path Map (850 KB) on check-in or simply print it out from here to plan your route. There is no better way to take in the best of Ottawa.
