Lord Elgin Hotel – Ottawa Restaurant Services
Take a Mocha Latte to-go from Starbuck’s on-site, or enjoy the Elgin Café for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We even have a special Children’s Menu for our younger guests. Breakfast at our Ottawa hotel features an expansive buffet complete with made-to-order omelet station and fresh Belgian waffles. The Lobby Bar features a variety of international lagers, the latest martinis, and above all, a place to relax. Room service is also available for those who prefer to dine-in.
Restaurant & Patio
The street level Elgin Café offers guests and visitors to Ottawa a comfortable place to relax and enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. Overlooking the blossom trees of Confederation Park in the summer and ice sculptures in the winter, the restaurant is in the heart of Ottawa’s action.
Please note, the Hotel’s Dining Room shall be closed from July 5th until early September for renovations. A full Breakfast Buffet will be made available each day in a banquet room to our guests (at a charge). Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be available through room service during this period. We thank you for your patience as our Dining Room undergoes this transformation.
Lobby Bar
The Lord Elgin Lobby Bar offers a casual Ottawa setting overlooking Elgin Street or beside the fireplace. Guests can enjoy a variety of hot and cold libations and light snacks.

Starbucks Coffee
Guests love the convenience of a Starbucks Coffee shop right on-site. Enjoy your favorite Frappuccino® en route to a busy day in Ottawa. Starbucks purchases and roasts high-quality whole bean coffees and sells them along with fresh, rich-brewed, Italian style espresso beverages, a variety of pastries and confections, and coffee-related accessories. We now also offer a special Starbucks room service menu – great for those mornings when you don’t want to leave your room.
Room Service
Room Service is available for guests between the hours of 6:30am and 11:00pm. For those Starbucks fans, we also offer a Starbucks room service menu from 6:30am to 10:00am on weekdays and 8:00am to 10:00am on weekends.
